Overview of Clinical Trials at Associated Neurologists of Southern Connecticut, PC
It is our goal to progress both clinically and professionally through clinical trials and continued medical education enabling us to provide the most advanced and sophisticated treatment options available. Our utmost concern is patient safety and welfare; therefore we abide by Good Clinical Practice standards to ensure the highest quality and integrity in data collection and analysis.
Our state of the art, newly renovated clinical research department, offers our patients a comfortable, personal environment that is modern and technologically equipped. There are three clinical research exam rooms with televisions and wireless internet for the enjoyment of our patients and a designated specimen processing room with centrifuge. We have a clinical research conference room that gives private space for families, monitor visits, and meetings. Our spacious office environment also consists of a separate, secure, Clinical Research Case Report Form and Regulatory Document room. Our pharmacy room is securely locked and restricted to access only and the room temperature is individually controlled. The minimum, maximum, and current temperature is monitored and recorded each business day.
Our highly trained staff includes a Clinical Research Manager and our team of Clinical Research Coordinators that strive to give our patients the best possible care. Our research program conducts multiple clinical trials. To date, over 100 clinical trials, both in-patient and out-patient, have been completed in the areas of Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's Disease, Migraine, Epilepsy, Spinal Cord Injury, Spasticity, Overactive Bladder, Neuropathy, Chronic Headache and Chronic Pain. The Clinical Research Program at Associated Neurologists of Southern CT, PC continuously work with sponsors, CROs and participates in new clinical trials to help advance modern medicine.
